Thanks so much for the opportunity to write about my experience with your company, Lakeside Insulation.
About 12 years ago I was admiring the siding and window work done on a friend's house. She told me at the time that Lakeside Insulation had done the work and how pleased she was with the workmanship and professionalism of the owner and crew. When it came time to replace the siding and windows on my older home, and to have the exterior walls of my home retro-insulated, I gave Ed a call. I am so glad that I did!
Ed was personable and professional when describing the work to be done, the time it would take, and the cost involved. There was no pressure to make a quick decision or to spend more money that necessary. The installers did a great job and finished on time. When there was an unforeseen problem with the retro-fit of my existing interior shutters, one call to Ed, and the guys were back on the job to make it right.
Over the years, I have called Ed from time to time for his advice on siding and window-related issues. Though he did not stand to profit, he promptly returned my calls and answered my questions. When I called a couple of years back about how to go about replacing my exterior shutters, he explained how to do the work, and dropped them off at my house. When I decided to try installing my own vinyl siding on a large outbuilding last year, he not only encouraged me to give it try, he gave me a great price on materials, dropped off them off at my house, and gave me tips for installation! It is always good to shop around when making a home improvement decision. We all work hard for a living and want a fair price for a job done right the first time.
